Team GB Squad announced for FCI World Agility Championships 2011
The Kennel Club has announced the selection of the Agility Team GB squad to compete at this year’s FCI World Agility Championships in Liévin in northern France, from 7th – 9th October 2011.
The team was chosen following a selection day held in the Midlands on Monday 27th June 2011, when three qualifying rounds and one final round were run on European style courses, under FCI rules and regulations, and judged by the current Medium Dog Agility World Champion and Team GB member, Natasha Wise.
The team selected by the Agility Team GB team manager, Graham Partridge, is as follows:
Small Team & Individual
- Bernadette Bay - Obay Itz Got Pizzazz
- Nicola Garrett - Ag Ch Obay Truly Driven
- Dawn Weaver - Ag Ch Tonring Just A Puzzle
- Dawn Weaver - Ag Ch Piquant Painted Sunshine (travelling reserve).
Medium Team
- Amanda Hampson - Shoredancer Sea Jade
- Angela Williams - Withersfarm Perfect Ten
- Natasha Wise - Ag Ch Raeanne's Flipping Heck.
Medium Individual

The team will once again benefit from financial sponsorship generously provided by Eurotunnel, Doggy Jumps by PolyJumps and the Agility Club, in addition to support from the Kennel Club itself.
Team GB team manager, Graham Partridge commented: “Once again we have a strong line-up of agility handlers and dogs for the World Championships, and we hope that there will be a big turnout of British supporters to back them. Their support makes an enormous difference to the handlers when they go up to the line to compete, and as the Championships are so close to the UK this year, we want as many people as possible to take advantage of the opportunity to come to Liévin and cheer us on.”
The 2011 FCI Agility World Championships will be held at the Stade Couvert Régional in Liévin in the Pas de Calais region of northern France. The historic town is only an hour’s drive from Calais and the Eurotunnel.
