London Pet Show

Animals of all shapes and sizes will be descending upon London in May 2011 as the London Pet Show comes to Olympia.

The London Pet Show is a dynamic live event, packed full of different types of animals, amazing live animal action displays and fun and informative talks and demonstrations. It’s the perfect opportunity for animal lovers to meet and learn about all different types of animals as well as buying products and services for themselves and their pets.

The London Pet Show will have five shows under one roof.

  • Discover Dogs
  • Discover Cats
  • Discover Exotics and Aquatics
  • Discover Small Furries
  • Discover Pets

Each zone will have its own live interactive and stimulating feature area with demonstrations, talks, workshops, clinics and activities for the particular pet as well as plenty of shopping opportunities.

The Discover Dogs area is being organised by the Kennel Club at the London Pet Show and will give visitors the chance to meet, greet and discover 28 different breeds of dog. Those thinking about getting a dog will be able to learn which dogs are suitable for their lifestyles, how they should care for them and what activities they can do with their chosen companion.

There will also be a KC Activity ring featuring Agility, Flyball, Heelwork to Music, training and other displays.

Companion Dog Club Competition at the London Pet Show

Could your dog be the Prettiest Bitch or Most Handsome Dog?

The ring programme also includes a CDC competition each day: on Saturday Most Handsome Dog & on Sunday Prettiest Bitch. Entries will be limited so to avoid disappointment return the attached form without delay.

Vanessa McAlpine, Events and Education Manager at the Kennel Club, said: “The Kennel Club is looking forward to being involved in the new London Pet Show. With one in two households owning a pet, it is fantastic to support a show that is highlighting the important role our pets play in our lives, whilst celebrating our healthy, happy dogs alongside the many other animals at the event.”
