Bookings
The bookings calendar for the Kennel Club Building changes on an almost daily basis so please contact Carrie to find out if the Building is available on the date you want. She can also advise on the suitability of various areas of the Building for your event and share information about how other clubs and societies have run their events at the venue.
"The Kennel Club Building proved to be an excellent venue for the Heelwork to Music show with a nice light and airy feel and plenty of room."
Gina Pink, Paws n Music Heelwork to Music Manager, August 09
Organised tours
If you would like a tour of the Building or you are an event organiser who has booked the building and would like to measure up before your show, please contact Carrie who will be happy to arrange this for you.
Find your ideal match
Have you thought about sharing the Kennel Club Building with another club? Many clubs have already done this and not only found it very cost effective sharing the venue hire costs but also, in many cases, also shared the costs of catering and additional equipment hire.
For more information please contact Carrie.
Recent examples of sharing the venue include:
- The Finnish Lapphund Club of Great Britain (pictured above right) Open Show held in conjunction with City of Birmingham Championship Show – 5th September 2009. The Finnish Lapphund club shared a quarter of the hall with The Tibetan Mastiff Club of Great Britain.
- The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association (pictured above left) Open Show held in conjunction with City of Birmingham Championship Show, 6th September 2009. The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Association shared a quarter of the hall with The Bracco Italiano Society and The Spanish Water Dog Club.
- The Havanese Club of Great Britain (pictured right) Open Show held in conjunction with City of Birmingham Championship Show – 4th September 2009. The Havanese Club of Great Britain shared a quarter of the hall with The British Bolognese Club.
"I attended a Champ Show there at the weekend and was very impressed with everything. It made the whole day very pleasant, unlike the cramped conditions we have had at other venues in the past. Light, airy, easy access and with both halls in action .....
2 sets of toilets! Wonderful."
Caron French (Caffimbra Golden Retrievers) Golden Retriever Show, 18th July
