Barking Beach Bonanza Battles the Great British Weather!

On Saturday September 6th, the Kennel Club’s dog owners group, KC Dog and Hampshire County Council held their Barking Beach Bonanza at Lepe beach and Country Park, where dog walkers and councillors braved the heavy rain and winds!

The Bonanza demonstrated the great bond between man and dog and also the health benefits that dogs bring to their owners. Most importantly the event showed that dogs and their owners are all year round users of the beach, whatever the weather!

KC Dog was established to ensure dog control orders are introduced reasonably. This year, Hampshire County Council won the KC Dog local authority award as a result of the work it has done with dog owners and the sensible approach to land management that has been taken as a result.
