Insurance For Canine Clubs & Societies And Trainers - From the people who know dogs
The Kennel Club continues to offer insurance packages designed specifically for dog clubs and societies of all shapes and sizes as well as for dog training instructors and behaviourists.
Originally launched in May 2005, the Kennel Club insurance for Canine Clubs and Societies is an ideal solution that provides cover for all club activities whether it be a show, competition or social events including Committee Meetings. Similarly the insurance for dog training instructors is designed specifically for those who offer instruction and advice on dog training and canine behaviour to dog owners, whether in a regular training class or on a one-to-one basis.
Although both insurance products provide up to £2.5 million Public Liability cover as standard, the Kennel Club understands that this is not always enough to cover the wide range of activities that canine organisations and trainers undertake. Therefore, organisers and trainers alike can pick and choose other elements of cover to meet their individual and unique needs, which may include hired or owned property cover and professional indemnity cover for dog trainers for example.
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club spokesperson said: “These insurance products have been designed for the Kennel Club specifically to meet the needs of clubs and societies as well as dog training instructors and are competitively priced for all levels of cover available. Another key benefit is that is that competitors and participants are covered which gives everyone an added sense of security if the worst happened”.
The Kennel Club insurance products are administered by PetPartners plc, which was recently acquired by Sweden’s leading animal insurance company, Agria Animal Insurance. During the past year, both Agria and the Kennel Club have been working closely to enhance existing pet healthcare and specialised insurance products to better meet the needs of customers.
