These training days are aimed at gundog owners who have a genuine interest in working their dogs in the shooting field, either for picking up or as shooting companions and who might like to compete in Gundog Handlers' Development Programme - Training Days. Kennel Club Training Day for Retrievers, Spaniels and HPRs

The Kennel Club holds a training day for Retrievers, Spaniels and HPRs at Chatsworth Estate as part of the Kennel Club Gundog Working Test Weekend. The day is intended to help those who intend to compete in Field Trials or Gundog Working Tests and for those who may have already taken the plunge but wish to improve. While the trainers can accommodate a wide range of abilities, it is expected that the dog will already have some basic level of training; sit and stay, walk to heel, recall and be able to retrieve.

More information for the 2016 training day will be available in due course via the  Kennel Club Gundog Working Test page.
