There is so much to remember when running a Registered Club or Society. This section provides information to help you run your club efficiently. If you have any queries or concerns, please email email@example.com.
Registered Clubs and Societies
If your society is not already registered with the Kennel Club and you have a question or if you would like more information about becoming a Registered Society, click here.
Listed Status Clubs
Listed Status Clubs such as Agility, Canicross, Heelwork to Music, Obedience or Rally are not required to complete the same administrative duties as Registered Clubs. For more information about how to become a Listed Status Club, click here.
The Secretaries' Calendar has been designed so that you don't miss any important deadlines for the forthcoming year. To access this informative calendar, click here.
Society Committees must ensure that they have adequate cover for all the Society's activities. Kennel Club Insurance cover is specifically designed for canine clubs or societies, including public and products liability and directors' and officers' liability insurance at a competitive price. For more information about insurance, visit: www.kcclubsandtrainersinsurance.org.uk.
Change of Secretary
Should the club secretary wish to step down, please inform the Kennel Club as soon as possible. Correspondence will be sent to the secretary listed on the Kennel Club database so it is important that we receive written notification if a change has occurred. Please send details of both the retiring and replacement secretary to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Liaison Councils and Working Parties
Liaison Councils and Working Parties have been set up to act as a channel of communication between the Kennel Club and those who are actively involved in the relevant discipline. For more information about how a specific Liaison Council or Working Party functions, click on the appropriate link below.
